Minimalist home balancing privacy and daylight with a sculpted façade and outer garden.
Villa Neo-Classical
Villa Neo-Classical is a residential project that frames daily life around privacy, light, and a composed external identity. The house is conceived as a calm, protective volume facing the street, with a sculpted facade and layered garden edge that together create a quiet threshold between public and private realms.
Design Intent
The design emphasizes a sense of retreat without feeling closed off. The facade is carefully modeled to introduce depth, shadow, and a clear hierarchy of openings, allowing the residence to feel grounded and ordered while still welcoming natural light and air. This sculpted treatment supports a more formal, neo-classical presence toward the street, yet remains restrained and contemporary in character.
Scope and Approach
ZADS approached the elevation, garden edge, and interior spatial sequence as one continuous experience. The outer garden acts as a soft buffer, filtering views and sound, and preparing the visitor for entry. As one moves from the street to the front door, the landscape, facade articulation, and controlled transparency of the openings work together to create a generous, measured arrival.
Inside, the minimalist residential character contrasts with the more formal exterior language. Openings are positioned to capture light while maintaining privacy from neighboring properties and the street. The result is a series of calm interior spaces that feel protected yet visually connected to the garden and sky.
Outcome
Villa Neo-Classical offers a quieter interpretation of residential luxury. Rather than relying on overt display, the project focuses on proportion, light, and the subtle interplay between solid and void. The home maintains a clear architectural presence toward the street while preserving a sense of seclusion for its inhabitants.
By combining privacy, light, and landscape into a single, coherent strategy, the project achieves a restrained and composed character. The sculpted facade, layered garden threshold, and carefully calibrated interior spaces together define a residence that is both dignified in its public face and serene in its private life.
