The street face

Villa Neo-Classical presents a calm, protective volume to the street. The facade is modelled for depth and shadow, with a clear order of openings, which gives the house a formal presence while staying restrained.

Garden and interior

An outer garden sits between the street and the front door, filtering views and noise and making the arrival slower. Inside, the rooms are plain and minimal. Openings are placed to bring in light while keeping the neighbours and the street out of view, so the rooms look to the garden and the sky.

Arches and order

The classical reference is carried by proportion and by the arch, not by ornament. A row of arched openings runs along the ground floor and a taller arch marks the entrance at the centre. Above them the first floor is squared off, with flat roofs and timber-lined soffits, so the house reads as contemporary from a distance and classical close up. A forecourt with a fountain and a lawn sets the house back from the road.
