Two buildings, one factory
Denim Factory is a concept for Soorty in Korangi, Karachi. The site has two industrial buildings with different functions. The proposal links them physically and visually, with bridges, aligned routes and shared thresholds, so workers, visitors and goods move through one connected site.
Taken from the process
Denim is made in a sequence, and the architecture borrows that rhythm. Repeating structural bays, measured openings and facade patterns that shift along their length suggest weaving and the assembly line without imitating them. The two buildings share one language of proportion and texture, giving the campus a clear identity in Korangi's industrial setting.
