MEP Engineer

ZADS is hiring an MEP Engineer for full-time, on-site work in Karachi. You will design and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on residential and commercial projects, and keep those systems aligned with the architectural drawings from design through construction. The work covers layouts, load calculations, consultant coordination, and site queries. We need someone who can hold a drawing set to a buildable standard and say clearly when a service does not fit.

What you’ll need
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or MEP Engineering.
- Experience producing MEP layouts for residential or commercial buildings in Pakistan.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and drainage, including local codes and utility practice.
- Ability to coordinate services with architectural and structural drawings and resolve clashes before they reach site.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD. Revit MEP is an advantage.
- Clear written communication in English, and the habit of marking issues on the drawing rather than only in a message.
- Willingness to visit site when coordination needs to be checked in person.
- Sample drawing set or portfolio required.
